Prenatal Massage
Prenatal Massage is a specialized therapy designed for women during pregnancy, offering physical, emotional, and mental health benefits. This treatment also improves circulation, normalizes blood pressure, minimizes edema, promotes relaxation, improves sleep, eases common pregnancy discomforts, and supports overall well-being—helping the body prepare physically, mentally, and emotionally for labor.
General Contraindications:
- Inflamed or sensitive skin, burns, open wounds, or rashes
- Blood clots, embolism, or recent injury
- Recent facial injections (within 2 weeks)
- Recent surgery (within 2 months)
Prenatal Contraindications:
- Vaginal bleeding or staining
- Premature labor (before 37 weeks)
- Pitting edema (possible preeclampsia/eclampsia)
- Hypertension or sudden spike in blood pressure
- Placenta previa or abruptio placentae
- Severe abdominal pain, migraine headaches, or absence of fetal movement for 8–10 hours
- Ectopic pregnancy
