Signature Deep Tissue Massage aka Phoenix Rejuvenating Massage is a type of therapeutic and relaxing massage with a combination of various styles ranging from Chinese Tui Na, Acupressure, Japanese Shiatsu, Deep Tissue, Thai stretching, Swedish massage techniques and reflexology to Face + Neck +Décolleté and Head massage. This particular massage has been received by thousands of clients in Canada, and the USA. The recommended session length is 1.5 -2 hours.
- Signature Swedish Massage (1 hour: $115; 1.5 hours: $165; 2 hours: $215)
This is a stress relief relaxing massage with Swedish massage techniques and combined with esthetic facial, neck and décolleté massage techniques and usage of aromatic stress-relief essential oil blend resulting in optimal relaxation.
- Breast & Chest Massage (1 hour: $115; 1.5 hours: $165)
This is a therapeutic body massage session with a focus on the massage of breast tissue, chest, and ribcage to support healthy breathing, blood and lymph circulation, healthy body posture, and lactation. It also supports clients preparing for or recovering from surgery. It supports recovery from shoulder, neck and rib injuries and relieves neck, shoulder, and back tension, pain, and stress. It also helps increase the ease of movement in both the upper and lower body. It helps clients feel and connect with their bodies in a precious, natural, and holistic manner. The recommended session length is 1.5 hours. Contraindications: Contagious diseases or conditions, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, severe pain, wounds, skin conditions, intoxication, burns, sunburns, neuritis, undiagnosed lumps, abscesses, leaking or suspected leaking of implants, lactational mastitis, active infection of the breast tissue, etc.

The application of temperature to the body to aid its healing process has a long history. Hot stone massage is the the perfect massage treatment for deeper relaxation. It is the application of heated smooth basalt stones on certain parts of the body to help loosen those tight muscles and to relax the mind and body. Often times massage therapists use the stones as an extension of their hands incorporating the warm basalt stones with various massage techniques, apply gentle pressure, massage the body with the stones, especially for those who have muscle tension.
Hot Stone massage promotes deeper relaxation, aids the blood circulation, helps relieving chronic aches and pains, enhancing emotional well-being, aids the body in self healing. It is not only relaxing, but also therapeutic. Its benefits goes beyond what bare hands can achieve in the traditional body treatments.

Targeting the lymphatic system, this method combines special products and manual techniques to increase effectiveness and results in improving the skin, body contour and well being. In this process, gentle pressure combined with lymphatic massage techniques and customized lymphatic massage oil along the lymphatic ducts of the face and body.
At Phoenix Beauty Spa, we offer 3 types of lymphatic drainage massages including Asian, European and Western LDM techniques and special lymphatic drainage oil blends. We offer LDM to the face, neck and décolleté, abdomen and the Body. LDM to the face and neck effectively reduces edema and bruising following injury or surgery, including cosmetic and dental surgery. LDM stimulate a sluggish immune system to more activity by increasing lymph circulation.
LDM is deeply relaxing and help speed up healing. LDM is focused on superficial tissues, but the muscles underneath also respond to the light, skillfully directed touch and will relax. It will reduce muscle tension and relieve pain. It can help relax the muscles which cause muscle – tension headaches. LDM benefit clients with low energy and stimulate immune circulation, which will help resist disease.
LDM detoxifies the body by carrying away microscopic organisms and metabolic waste from the tissues and allows increased nutrition and blood flow into the skin, improving the skin’s condition.
This manual lymphatic drainage massage treatment helps stimulate toxin elimination and combat water retention, re-balance fluids, speed up cell renewal and healing, detox the body and rejuvenate the skin for a firmer, younger and healthier looking skin and it also helps strengthen the immune function.
Three sessions in a week is recommended. Regular LDM improves the complexion, strengthen immune system and promote general well-being of the recipient.
- Prenatal Massage (1 hour: $115; 90 mins: $165)
Prenatal means “before birth”. Prenatal massage is a particular type of massage therapy given to a woman during her pregnancy. Like a regular massage, prenatal massage offers many health benefits including physical, emotional and mental health benefits. Prenatal massage helps reduce muscle tension, relieve muscle spasms, cramps and fibrosis, reduce pain and swelling, relieve stress, elevate mood, improve sleep quality, increase blood and lymph circulation, normalizing blood pressure, speed up elimination of toxins from the body, minimize edema and stimulate peristalsis, ease varicose veins, relieve the common discomforts of pregnancy, encourage deeper and easier breathing, promote relaxation and helps prepare the physically, emotionally and mentally for labor.

- Bleeding or staining
- Premature labor; (labor between 20 to 30 weeks is considered preterm labor.)
- Pitting edema, which could be symptomatic of more serious conditions such as preeclampsia (toxemia) or eclampsia
- A spike in blood pressure or a hypertensive condition

- Fetal movement not felt for 8-10 hours

Oncology massage is a special type of massage therapy customized for a person who is currently living with cancer or has a history of cancer.
Studies show oncology massage offers great benefits such as reducing stress, anxiety, depression, pain, swelling, fatigue, improving appetite, increasing blood, lymph circulation, easing constipation, promoting better sleep and preventing insomnia, stimulating the nervous system and promoting relaxation.
Contraindications: Malignant cancers

- CBD Massage (1 hour: $115; 90 mins: $165; 2 hours: $215)
This is Signature Deep Tissue Massage combined with some manual lymphatic drainage techniques with special CBD massage oil or lotions to help relieve pain and reduce muscle tension and stimulate blood and lymph circulation and promote relaxation as well.
- Cupping Massage Therapy (1 hour: $115; 1.5 hours: $165; 2 hours: $215) (1$ for 1 min. for cupping add-on, minimum 10 mins for cupping add-on)
Massage Cupping Therapy is a modified version of cupping therapy. Deep Tissue or Swedish Massage is given along with cupping therapy. Cupping Therapy has a long history for thousands of years. It is a great treatment for health and relaxation. By creating a vacuum pressure and suction, cupping therapy is used to reduce muscle tension and the stagnation that is in the body, loosen adhesion, stimulate blood and lymphatic circulation, separate fascia, release toxins, improve the function of viscera, improve varicose veins, and strengthen the immune system. Massage Cupping is done by application of cups on a localized region of the body (usually on the back or the limbs of the body) for a short period of time. Time ranges from less than a minute to 10 or 15 minutes, depending on the individual treatment concerns. This treatment can also be done by moving the cups while massaging the body so the cups won’t be stationary if this time of treatment is given. Both have great benefits for the recipient. At Phoenix Beauty Spa, we apply the cups in either stationary or moving way or combination of both ways, depending on the client’s needs and preference as well.
Possible Side Effects:
“Cup Kisses”- Temporary red marks may be left on the skin. Temporary redness, tenderness or itchiness may be experienced, which is normal reaction of the skin to the cupping treatment and these marks will disappear shortly after the massage cupping treatment. Consult your doctor before you receive cupping therapy.
- Face + Neck + Décolleté + Head Massage (15 mins: $40; 30 mins: $65)
This is a special massage to the face, neck, décolleté and head with Asian and Western massage movements and products, promoting deep relaxation, easing tension headaches and speeding up blood and lymph circulation and reducing stress. A 10-minute of this massage is included in all our massage sessions and skincare treatments which includes massage. But you can book the full treatment separately for the full session.
- Hand & Foot Massage (60 mins: $105)
This is a special massage to the hands and feet with special Asian and Western massage movements and products along with hand and foot reflexology techniques promoting increased blood and lymph circulation, strengthening the immune system and reducing stress. A 10-minute of this massage is included in all our massage sessions and skincare treatments which includes massage. You can book the full treatment separately for the full session. The 30-minute session including 25-minute massage plus aromatic hand or foot soak. The full length 60-minute session includes a luxurious and relaxing hand or foot soak, hand or feet skincare, such as exfoliations, masks, and paraffins treatment to the hands or feet and a 30-minute therapeutic and relaxing massage to the hands or feet.
Note: This treatment is not manicures or pedicures and this doesn’t include manicures or pedicures such as nail cutting, filing or polish treatment.
- Gua Sha Therapy (1 hour: $115) (Gua Sha Add-on: $20 for 10 mins; $50 for 30 mins)
Gua Sha is a traditional Chinese healing modality, which has been known of hundreds of years. “Gua” means scrape or rub. “Sha” means sand, which signifies stagnated energy. Gua Sha means “scraping away the stagnation which may lead to decreased immune system and illness. This can be done by scraping and rubbing parts of the body with a scraping tool such as jade stone, or ox horn after application of the massage oil or other lubricants.
There are many benefits from Gua Sha treatment. It can significantly improve blood and lymph circulation, reduce edema, aid the body detoxification process, reduce muscle and scar tissue tension, improve the range of motion, reduce tension headaches and stress, and strengthen the immune system of the recipient.
Gua Sha can be done to the face, neck and the body. If done to the face, it can help contour the face, tighten the skin and brighten the complexion, resulting a healthy, younger complexion.
At Phoenix Beauty Spa, we offer Gua Sha Massage Therapy. We use special Gua Sha tools for the face and body combined with customized massage techniques and aromatherapy to deliver a therapeutic and relaxing Gua Sha Treatment.
Downside of Gua Sha Treatment
Gua Sha may cause red marks which is believed to be the manifestation of the stagnation. This manifestation is a sign of toxins being released and will be carried out of the blood system of the body so the red marks will disappear a few days after the treatment. But it doesn’t need to cause major red marks when this treatment is given. If it’s done to the face, it won’t cause any red marks normally.
